East Burwood Bennettswood will be holding a Special General Meeting on Monday the 19th of August at 8:00pm to vote on a proposed name change, as well as a preferred logo for the club. See belowfor more details. Logo options will be posted on the website at a later date.

Dear Member,
The committee of East Burwood/Bennettswood Cricket Club have called a Special General Meeting of the East Burwood/Bennettswood Cricket Club. This meeting will be held in the East Burwood Sporting Club social rooms (1st Floor, East Burwood Reserve Pavilion) on Monday 19th August commencing at 8:00 p.m.
This notice posted to the website of East Burwood/Bennettswood Cricket Club constitutes the 21 days minimum notice period.
The agenda of the Special General Meeting is as follows:-
1. Vote on the proposal to change the name of the organisation from “East Burwood/Bennettswood Cricket Club Inc.” to “East Burwood Cricket Club Inc.”
As per the constitution of the club this proposal requires 75% of the votes received from eligible members to pass.

2. General business including :-
• Canvass member opinion for the preferred logo with regards to the options presented on the club website.

Proxy votes can be sent to the secretary Gerard Bramstedt at the email address gerard274@hotmail.com . For the votes to be valid they need to be received by 8pm Sunday 18th August 2013 and clearly state whether they are for the name change or against the name change.
